I just want you to note that waypoints are already supported on a mobile platform especially on iOS. I have tested it and total of 9 stops can be added to the URL.
However, what I am requesting is not "waypoint as stop", but "waypoint as pass through point". So that user will not see pass through waypoint on the map.
Let's say three pass through waypoints are added along with origin and destination. The user will only see destination as the only stop. I hope that makes sense

Hi,
Is there any timeline to this feature? I see a via: on the directions api. Would be nice if we can use that when opening a link with google maps too.
Thanks

You can launch Google Maps with multiple waypoints by entering your starting point, destination, and adding stops by tapping "Add Stop." It’s a handy feature for planning routes, especially if you enjoy games like Car Parking Multiplayer MOD APK, where mastering navigation and driving skills is key. What would you like to see us add to Maps Actions?
add parameter option that accepts passthrough waypoints like how 'via' is used in Directions API
Please describe how the feature should work:
when a user opens URL like below
on their mobile device, Google map should open up with Hayward and Pleasanton as passthrough waypoints(note that these are not stops). So the user should only see one stop, which is San Jose, and should be navigated through Hayward and Pleasanton
Please give a use case or explain where and why you need this feature:
I am developing a mobile app which lets motorcycle riders plan a route for group rides. Me as a motorcyclist and other riders prefer to take country road and old highways for our enjoyment and avoid traffic in some cases.
However, Google Map does not let us add passthrough waypoints unless we add a stop on a specific road we would like to take. It is both inconvenient and dangerous because a rider should either make a full stop or interact with Google Map app while riding.
Thanks for your understanding. I hope to hear back from you guys soon. Thanks
