This is not only useful for IP addresses, but also for many other resources. I understand that names are currently used as identifiers, so this request is probably not trivial to implement. Maybe distinguishing between a (numeric, automatically generated) identifier and a (textual) label is the way to go?

FEATURE REQUEST
Business Impact: Customer cannot exclusively perform a storage migration when creating a new job in Waves UI using M4CE 4.11
What you would like to accomplish: To be able to exclusively perform a storage migration instead of performing a Full Migration
How this might work: By adding a new operation when creating a new job
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient: Adobe Flash Player is End of Life. As the M4CE plugin is dependent on it, the storage migration cannot be performed manually. Waves UI has the option to perform a Full Migration, which includes the “run-in-cloud”, “storage migration” and “prepare to detach” operations. However, it does not have any option to perform exclusively a storage migration.
