commit bdde5a1a970ddc9007b28de4aa29d60ffa588f08
Author: Yigit Boyar <yboyar@google.com>

Re-factor how errors are dismissed when query is re-written
This CL changes how we handle errors/warnings if query is
re-written.
There was a bug in expandProjection where we would report warnings
for things that Room already fixes automatically (
The solution to that problem (I7659002e5e0d1ef60fc1af2a625c0c36da0664d8)
solved it by deferring validating of columns until after re-write
decision is made. Unfortunately, this required changing PojoRowAdapter
to have a dummy mapping until it is validating, make it hard to use
as it does have a non-null mapping which is not useful.
This CL partially reverts that change and instead rely on the log
deferring logic we have in Context. This way, we don't need to break
the stability of PojoRowAdapter while still having the ability to
drop warnings that room fixes. This will also play nicer when we
have different query re-writing options that can use more information
about the query results.

Hi there, just wondering if this issue has been acknowledged by the product and engineering teams as a bug, and if a fix is in the works. It has since been picked up by tech media outlets. Thank you

I also noticed that youtube sounds far better than tidal or uapp with dac and earphones.
Is it possible to believe that Google pixel 6 gives an avantage to Google software

Please fix this problem ASAP. I bought the Pixel 6 Pro expecting it was more advanced than my Samsung 7 Edge - unfortunately this is not the case until you fix this serious issue regarding sound quality.

It's a shame for Google.
They brought Android 12 that kills external DACs and L2TP VPN(saying it is unsecure but windows still allows me to use it)

Contact then and they'll send you a link. But it doesn't work properly because of the Google pixel 6 + pro issues so they've taken out the app store for that device

I ordered a Dragonfly Cobalt when I ordered my P6P, and when I realized that it wouldn't work, and still doesn't work nearly 4 months later...it's the first time I've questioned buying another Google phone -ever. I've been Google-only since the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Note that all apps that use the USB host API to play
audio to a USB DAC do not work on the Pixel 6, including USB Audio Player PRO, Tidal, Neutron, Hiby, etc. It's more than a mere inconvenience.

I have the pixel 6 from its launch. It worked with DAC after an update but recently, my shanling portable dac stopped working. It's disconnected every two or three seconds by the phone. The DAC properly work on OSX and windows 10.

Description
Apps featuring their own USB audio driver are not able to play audio on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 PRO. This is not an Android 12 issue since it works fine on Android 12 on other Android devices, even on the Pixel 2 and 3's.
Steps to reproduce:
Install USB Audio Player PRO (trial available here:
Technical details:
When trying to submit a USB urb with libusb:
ioctl(hpriv->fd, IOCTL_USBFS_SUBMITURB, urb);
It fails with errno 95:
#define EOPNOTSUPP 95 /* Operation not supported on transport endpoint */
Using USB MIDI devices works using the USB host API and libusb, so the problem is restricted to USB audio interfaces/DACS.
