I have issue in opening

google.tk /

google.ml domains. NSLOOKUP for these domains are failing from yesterday. Infact any site with .tk, .cf, .ml domains are failing.

I guess there is some error somewhere. The same domains are working fine with cloudflare DNS server.

Can you check why these domains are failing. This is happening for all .ml / .tk / .cf domains to what I could see.

You can reproduce it with any .tk / .ml domains.

I am using Norton 360 VPN, I was also suffering from this issue (the Key icon indicates I am connected to VPN but I cannot connect to websites etc.). My solution was to disable "Block connections without VPN" and it started working again. Unfortunately re-enabling it will cause the issue to come back.

We were able to reproduce the issue on the public Android Developer Preview build. However, the issue is not reproducible on our internal development build (which is ahead of the public release). Please test it on the next public release and let us know if you are still having issues.

My Pixel 5 and 4a 5G are both affected with OpenVPN on beta 4. This is a serious issue that needs an immediate patch. I am forced to use a different phone until it is resolved because I am unable to connect to work services through my VPN.

Ad blockers that use local VPN like AdGuard or Blokada are also affected. You can still connect to the Internet through them, that hasn't been affected, but now they completely fail to block any ads or other menaces like they're designed to.

Can also confirm this behavior on Beta 4 with NordVPN (no data at all), Mullvad VPN and Google's own VPN with Google One (both Mullvad and Google show as connected but don't route data through the VPN...IP is exposed and data not secured.)

Most concerning is that using outline VPN, I had no indication that my vpn wasn't behaving as usual. Only after reading articles about it did I search, "what's my IP" and it returned the IP address from the local network, not my outline server as it normally does.
