One of the important features of JankStats is UI state injection from outside of the library, or even of the client app. In particular, we have the ability to add UI state injection from other important areas in AndroidX code. At a minimum, it seems like RecyclerView and NavigationComponent are reasonable places to track (and report) UI state, so that clients of JankStats can see, when they have performance issues, whether there was related activity in RecyclerView, and which navigation destination was active when jank occurred.

This should be done by 1.0 (stable) of JankStats, but not too far in advance to avoid tying down these other libraries with dependencies on an early version of the new JankStats library.
