Description
There is a current restriction to this configuration, and it states, "You cannot resize a multi-writer persistent disk".
This is detailed in the following document link.
In many day to day circumstances, the volume of data on these disks will increase over time and resizing these disks to a larger size will be needed at some point. However, it would be unfeasible and not cost-effective to max provision these types of storage to accommodate a foreseeable amount of data needing to be stored.
Without the ability to resize the disk, additional storage capacity is needed. A new multi-writer persistent disk would also need to be provisioned to a maximum size.
I want to request the ability to resize these multi-writer persistent disks. This would allow more flexibility and reduce additional work and possibly VM downtime to provision and attach additional drives in the future.
