This is not only useful for IP addresses, but also for many other resources. I understand that names are currently used as identifiers, so this request is probably not trivial to implement. Maybe distinguishing between a (numeric, automatically generated) identifier and a (textual) label is the way to go?
Description
What you would like to accomplish:
When using StackDriver, I cannot choose what timezone I want to display my datetimes in. As such, it defaults to what my default is. This creates a great deal of confusion when I am using other products, or looking directly at my logs and seeing everything in UTC.
How this might work:
Be able to either select a toggle which would temporarily allow all of my datetimes in browser to display as UTC, or better be able to configure my preferences to choose what timezone I want to use sitewide.
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
I'm mentally adding/subtracting hours from your product to correlate up with everything else.
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
Mental math.
