Checking compatibility with the api file generated from the same annotation class fails:

$ metalava --api api.txt --source-files src/kotlin/com/example/MyAnnotation.kt
$ metalava --check-compatibility:api:released api.txt --source-files src/kotlin/com/example/MyAnnotation.kt

src/kotlin/com/example/MyAnnotation.kt:3: error: Class com.example.MyAnnotation no longer implements java.lang.annotation.Annotation [RemovedInterface]
