Description
- Steps to reproduce the problem (including sample code if appropriate).
1. Run an app that requests to be default CallerID, and allow it.
Since Android 11, doing so should also turn on "Display over other apps" (see attached video to understand this behavior) :
2. Go to app-info and see this setting.
- What happened.
Only on Xiaomi devices with Android 11, this preference (called "Display pop-up window") stays turned off.
- What you think the correct behavior should be.
Should be as on the docs.
- Is this a security related issue? Yes/No
Maybe.
Attached a sample project to test it on.
You can see on the attached video (tested on Pixel 4 with Android 12.1) that it works fine there.
