After Compose upgrade from 1.0.5 to 1.1.1 a soft keyboard does not hide if I navigate to a different screen when an input is focused and the keyboard is open. Compose 1.0.5 hides the keyboard in the same scenario.

I use Kotlin 1.6.10 and the following compose libraries:
androidx.compose.ui:ui:1.1.1
androidx.compose.material:material:1.1.1
androidx.activity:activity-compose:1.4.0
androidx.navigation:navigation-compose:2.4.1

It is also reproducible with Compose 1.2.0-alpha05

Is there any update when the alpha04 will be available? We need it to target api 31 because of the PendingIntent mutability flags missing in alpha03.

I'll schedule it for the next release. Note that alpha04 is a complete turn-down of the library where all APIs are marked as Deprecated, so you'll also want to start removing your usages of the library.

We are also encountering this issue, which started after migrating our app to Compose Navigation (version 2.8.3). Specifically, when a user logs in by entering their credentials and pressing the "Sign In" button, the keyboard closes as expected. However, this action triggers navigation, and upon transitioning to the next screen—a screen using a LazyColumn without any input fields—the keyboard unexpectedly reopens.
