This one is not a duplicate of that one. This one is for working hours, and the one you mentioned is for working location. Those are two different things. Please unlink them as duplicates.

This seems to be an extension of 112248486, which was closed and marked as a duplicate of an unrelated feature. Supporting that we either keep this one open or (preferably) revert 112248486 to its former open status. There is a lot of history and support that will be erased if that ticket is ignored.

Yes, +1 to the other commenter, please revert 112248486 to its former open status, and mark THIS ticket as a duplicate of that one. That ticket predates this one, and it has a 4-year history of 235 up-votes and 99+ comments, a history worth giving center stage. This ticket is different from 198667127, of which this ticket is currently marked as duplicate, as that one is about working LOCATION not working HOURS.

To reiterate the request above, could someone please remove the duplicate tag from this?

Working hours exposed in the API would allow you to query your organization for resources and people that should be available for a given time range.

Description
A short description of the request:
A Google Calendar API for getting/setting/updating a user's Working Hours.
What is the purpose of this new feature?
Being able to programmatically view or update a user's Working hours.
With shift work, and more folks working from home, we need a way to dynamically view or update working hours. A user's working hours may be different every day/week/month. With an API we can programmatically get or update it.
What existing APIs would this affect?
None
What existing data does this use?
User's calendar data.
Please provide any additional information below.
Other feature requests were submitted for the same thing but they were closed. They had a lot of stars. Plus the work from home landscape has changed needs. As such, I am opening a new one in the hopes that Google will implement it.
Additionally, Google closed the above request stating:
