What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. Open Google Camera
2. Start video recording
3. Switch to Ultra Wide lens
What did you expect to happen?
Smooth lens switch
What actually happened?
After a cold start of the app, the first lens switching causes lag.
How often has this happened?
Every time
What was the effect of this issue on your device usage, such as lost time or work?
High

Re-switching the lens is smoother. It seems to me that the application needs to initiate the second lens in the background so that it is ready for a smooth first switch.
