Using Chipmunk on an M1, I created a new project -- but it failed during sync. The only error message shown in the Sync window was

Could not install Gradle distribution from 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.3.3-bin.zip'.

The URL is shown as a link, and when I click on it, it causes Chrome to download the .zip (which worked fine).

When I opened the idea log, I noticed that it looks like it failed with a network failure. And I'm not surprised -- I'm in the office and Google-A has been super flaky today. But, the root cause error which I'm seeing in the log isn't shown to the user; I think we should look at the sync failure causes (I know we do this for some types of failures) and pass that on to the sync error output, e.g.

Could not install Gradle distribution from 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.3.3-bin.zip'.

Possible root cause: Network is unreachable (connect failed)
