Please note that this place is for reporting bugs and feature requests for Google Maps API and is not really the place to report data issues, but we’d like to know if you’ve already reported this via Google Maps’s ‘Send Feedback’? If not, you can check out this link on how to do it:
From there, you can report issue such as:
- Incorrect road names,
- Wrong info about one-way and two-way roads,
- Incorrectly drawn road,
- Closed roads,
- Roads that don't exist,
- Wrong addresses or marker locations
- Street view issues

I understand this issue was considered to be a data issue at some point, however I have noticed that Google Maps has recently started adding a lot of driveways as mapped roads and this actually does seem to be an issue with how Maps is creating new roads. I can't see a reason why private driveways should be added to Google Maps.

Private driveways that are long (40 feet or more) in more rural areas can cause deliveries to go to the wrong address or road. Adding these driveways allows companies like Amazon to have their drivers complete the order. If they are too far from the mapped road the software and order tracking system will not allow them to complete the drop off. We are in this exact situation currently. All delivery drivers tend to pass our driveway and end up on another private road because of this mapping anomaly.
