Issue summary:

The customer needs to create a BigQuery materialized view using the ROW_NUMBER() function, running the following query:

CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW mv AS

with ctetbl as (

select user_id, transaction_amount, date

,row_number() over (partition by user_id order by date desc) as rn

from the_original_table

)

select user_id, transaction_amount, date

from ctetbl

where rn = 1

As materialized views don't support analytic functions, they are getting an error message in this regard, therefore, the customer needs a feature implementing this support in order to achieve the required creation of this materialized view.
