Description

Setting fitsSystemWindows to splash screen theme, breaks app theme.

Please see attached screenshots. One is expected style, the other one is actual style, when using this property.

It's probably not intended to use this property. It was a typo on my end, when I was migrating to new splash screen. Tough I must say it was super annoying to debug. Maybe you can do smth on your end, to prevent this mistake, like throw an error or something?
