A short description of the issue:

AMP Email thats viewed on gmail app on iOS device seems to freeze from time to time when you scroll it.

If appropriate, a small code sample that reliably reproduces the issue. The sample should run as-is or with minimal setup, without external dependencies.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open up the code example thats provided in last comment on

https://github.com/ampproject/amphtml/issues/34701
2. View the example email on gmail app on iOS and try to scroll it
3. It should freeze from time to time when scrolled

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? If you see error messages, please provide them.
There should be any freezes or lags when scrolling email.

Hello, are there any updates to this issue? We're seeing the scrolling completely freeze on a lot of Gmail iOS AMP emails and would love to get this fixed ASAP.

Bug is still present and plages AMPhtml emails on iOS. Freezing on scrolling behaviour when you tap and scroll from AMP element - sometimes gets stuck, sometimes works.

Same, still persists, if google wants us to adapt AMPhtml language into our marketing campaigns (and ill agree its great function, full of possibilities) the bug where whole on iOS gmail app scroll view freezes after element is clicked needs to be fixed.
