When instrumentation tests are run using app:connectedAndroidTest or through Android Studio, only the app module gets installed. If the test case tries to access any dynamic feature resources, it is unable to do as dynamic feature is not installed. It would be good to have a way to specify the dynamic features that we would like to be installed before test case execution similar to how there are multiple ways to deploy the app like selecting modules (app + dynamic feature) or installing from App bundle.

I tried adding screenshotTestImplementation(libs.androidx.window) but it didn't fix it.

This is likely a duplicate of b/388773416. Could you try adding libs.androidx.window dependency to implementation to see if it works?

If we uncheck "Run Android Instrumentation Tests through Gradle" preference in Android Studio, it works fine.
