Problem you have encountered:

gcloud storage objects list appears to not work.

What you expected to happen:

gcloud storage objects list to work i.e. to be functionally similar to gsutil ls and gcloud storage ls

Steps to reproduce:

BUCKET="..."
gsutil ls gs://${BUCKET} | wc -l
195

gcloud storage ls gs://${BUCKET} | wc -l
195

gcloud storage objects list gs://${BUCKET} --format="value(name)" | wc -l
0

Curiously:

gcloud storage objects list gs://${BUCKET} --log-http

Includes:

ENDPOINT="https://storage.googleapis.com/storage/v1/b/${BUCKET}/o?alt=json&delimiter=%2F&maxResults=1000&projection=full&versions=True"

which works:
