Description
We want to grant a user with "Owner" role to our administrative user account, where the user is not mailable. For example, we are using id, xyz@abc.com, which is not mailable. Challenging part for us is that we want to add this kind of user as "owner" at project level but then such invitation email acceptance criteria is stopping us.
As per this doc: where it says the constraints that apply :
“You can only grant ownership of a project to a member by using the GCP Console. Inviting a member will deliver an invitation email that they must accept. An invitation email is not generated if you are granting a role other than owner, or if both the member you are inviting and the project are part of your organization.”
What you would like to accomplish:
Skipping email acceptance invitation while granting Owner role to the user
How this might work:
Despite providing the OWNER role, to skip the acceptance invitation email.
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
We are already aware of the alternative options like,
if the ID is part of an external group or we add it under Google group, we can skip the email acceptance criteria.
But our use case is unfortunately feasible, so we are asking for other alternatives or if exceptions can be granted at Org/GSuite level.
