As a developer who uses Nova launcher on my daily driver, this just cost me hours of debugging trying to figure out why the predictive back gesture wasn't working.

This is still broken on Android 14. The window just disappears when you complete the gesture. Attached a screen recording of it.

Description
This bug report is about Android's upcoming predictive back gesture:https://developer.android.com/guide/navigation/predictive-back-gesture .
Expected
Executing the predictive back gesture on supported apps triggers a pleasant animation and smoothly animates from the app to the home screen.
Actual
Executing the predictive back gesture on supported apps does not trigger the animation, neither on stable Android 13 nor in the latest Android 13 Beta. In the latest Android 13 Beta (T2B1.221118.006), there's also a noticeable delay before the home screen appears, and tapping on the home pill at the bottom instantly opens the just-closed app (see attached video).

Device info
Tested on Pixel 5 Android 12 T2B1.221118.006. This seems to be a Framework Launcher3/Quickstep/SystemUI issue.
