While for me I prefer to just merge emulator control together with mirroring (have consistency and less things to remember and confuse), other users might want to have them still split.

They are merged together because keeping them separate would be confusing to overwhelming majority of users.

Just so you know I failed to use them for the emulator (and maybe for mirroring too, didn't test) when I set a mouse key.
For example, set the right-mouse-key to be the back-navigation-key of Android.
I've reported about this too.
