Android Auto gives wrong rect to onStableAreaChanged callback (SurfaceCallback Interface) in split view mode (coolwalk)

The callback provides a rect and the top is greater than the bottom, so the rect.isEmpty method always returns true. See log below.

log: onStableAreaChanged: top:90, bottom:0, left:10, right:476

Any updates on this? It's been a month already since I reported it, and it seems this crash is occurring quite frequently for my users.
