Problem you have encountered: Not able to specify a number of the last versions for an image to be retained even if they exceed the maximum age as well as to be able to exclude specific images to not be affected by the policy via regex or wildcarded patterns; In the GAR Clean Up Policy feature [1]

What you expected to happen: Having additional documented fields for the policy JSON file to achieve setting those additional configurations.

Steps to reproduce: Currently, this feature only allows to specify the maximum age the images should not be deleted before reaching it.

Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc): There’s no visibility towards the possible JSON fields that could be configured.

This is not only useful for IP addresses, but also for many other resources. I understand that names are currently used as identifiers, so this request is probably not trivial to implement. Maybe distinguishing between a (numeric, automatically generated) identifier and a (textual) label is the way to go?
