What you would like to accomplish:
Being able to see Logging failed connection attempts with their associated IP addresses having Cloud SQL audit Logs enabled.
How this might work:
Seeing the logging failed connection attempts with the IPs that have been trying to perform these connections while having Cloud SQL audit logs enabled.
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
