Description
On January 27th, some addresses in Japan couldn't be correctly obtained through Google Maps API. Before January 25th, these addresses were obtainable through the API. On January 30th, the issue seems to be resolved.
The actual requests and responses are following.
pattern 1) 1/27 PM 2:06, request value was "岡山県倉敷市南畝６－７－１", then the response was "[]".
pattern 2) 1/30 AM 11:30, request value was "岡山県倉敷市南畝６－７－１", then the response was "[{'address_components': [{'long_name': '菱進運輸倉庫', 'short_name': '菱進運輸倉庫', 'types': ['premise']},...".
Regarding the above results, my questions are the 2 of followings.
1. What is the root cause of this different response?
2. Does this issue happen again in the future? If it will not, would you tell me the reason?
