Some Maps URLs Directions links fail to open the Google Maps interface on web.

Instead of the Google Maps interface, a blank white page is displayed. Viewing the page source shows that the document seems to be incomplete. In my testing, when the issue reproduces, the page HTML always ends with the following unterminated script tag (although the nonce differs):

What steps will reproduce the problem?

In my testing, the issue is intermittent, but it seems to reproduce most often with directions links to addresses that are drivable but very far away. For example, I'm in Seattle, so destinations in New York or Florida reproduce most often, but addresses in Washington State always work correctly.

The links that reproduce take a long time to open (multiple seconds) on a fast internet connection. My best guess is that the driving route calculation is taking a long time due to the long distance involved, which either causes a timeout or some other underlying issue that prevents the page from loading correctly.

Here are a couple of URLs that reproduced the issue sometimes (viewing the links from Seattle):

If you're located elsewhere, a specific street address on the other side of the country would likely give the best chance of a reproduction.
