CURRENT BEHAVIOUR:
BigQuery dataset / table / view description option only supports plain text.
PROBLEM:
This reduces the usefulness of the description field as it's hard to read (no formatting) and non-interactive (e.g. even links have to be copy/pasted manually).
FEATURE REQUEST:
Add markdown support for the description option to make it a lot more useful as markdown would allow to:
Leverage formatting to make description clearer
Enable clickable links to refer to other parts of the GCP Console or external documentation
Insert images to make it more visual (e.g. icons or ETL diagrams)
