When did this happen?

What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. Typing in messages (like in WhatsApp) or any blank field of any app that requires you to put in any kind of text
2. Keyboard may be functional at first, but after some time it freezes up and then the whole device becomes unresponsive
3. Force restart Pixel 6

What did you expect to happen?
For the in-device keyboard to function as it should

What actually happened?
Whole device frozen

How often has this happened?
Frequently

What was the effect of this issue on your device usage, such as lost time or work?
Extreme - device was unusable

Additional comments
This happens often with WhatsApp, Google Chrome and Facebook whenever I try to type in something and, at first everything is great but then, the screen gets frozen and the whole device is unresponsive. (Using the last version of Google Keyboard)
