This is not only useful for IP addresses, but also for many other resources. I understand that names are currently used as identifiers, so this request is probably not trivial to implement. Maybe distinguishing between a (numeric, automatically generated) identifier and a (textual) label is the way to go?

Is it any hope? We have migrated our IP address to the server with different role, and now the name of this IP address resource doesn't match its role at all. It seems to be trivial enough to momentary reserve static IP address of the old named resource, drop resource, and immediately recreate it with the new name and the old IP address.
Description
Every month I have 300 euros credit from Google Cloud that I use mainly in making queries to Google Maps different APIs (for my PhD research).
Yesterday, I have started using a new API called Places API. I made many queries and it costed 272 euros, however, I was only substracted the sum 119euros, so I have to pay 153euros (see image attached).
The problem is that I have only used 65 euros from the 300euros prior to using Places API. Which leaves me with 235euros of credit. In this case why only 119euros were covered and not all the 235euros ?
Shouldn't I be paying 37euros only ?
For more information, I have used Nearby Search --> Place Search --> Places API.
Thank you in advance for clarification.
