CompileLibraryResourcesTask generates .flat files from resources. These flat files references the absolute path of the file which causes cache misses when using remote caching.

For example, we have a src/main/res/xml/network_security_config.xml which when compiled using compileDebugLibraryResources comes out looking like this:

AAPT............l.......4...*.........xm
l/network_security_config...."../path/to
/project/app/build/intermediates/package
d_res/internalDebug/xml/network_security
_config.xml

We're seeing this on both AGP 8.0 as well as 8.1-beta02. And both with build tools 33.0.2 as well as 34.0.0-rc3

Yes, this these are both cases of us not using relative paths in compiled resources and breaking relocatability by continuing to use absolute paths.
