I was facing an issue according to the UI. When I was only using the button, it was showing the default color. But when I used the app compact button, the bug was fixed. The official document also mentions that you should only need to manually use this class when writing custom views.

I just want to know why we use AppCompat Button instead of Button.
Also, what is the actual meaning of this statement (  You should only need to manually use this class when writing custom views. )?
