Dear Google Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding the utilization of the Direction API for route planning in our map application.

Currently, we are successfully using the Direction API to generate routes. However, we would like to further enhance our application's functionality by including markers along these routes. The coordinates for these markers are stored in our database.

Unfortunately, we have encountered an issue with the Direction API response. It seems to provide us with a limited number of coordinates for the searched route. For instance, when searching for a route from Delhi to Chandigarh on NH44, we may only receive approximately 35 coordinate points.

To address this limitation, we have attempted to search for markers in our database using individual coordinates. However, we have been unable to search and plot all the markers along the searched route.

We kindly request your assistance in suggesting an alternative API that may provide a greater number of coordinates for a given route or given all possible coordinates between two coordinates on a route . Alternatively, if there are any functionalities within the Direction API that we may have missed, which would enable us to obtain more coordinates for plotting markers along the route, we would greatly appreciate your guidance.
