I'm also having this issue for any trust stocks. IE. EIT.UT

Also seeing this issue for all my REITs
si...@gmail.com <si...@gmail.com> #4
Same here, also doesn't work if you actually go to Google Finance and try to type in a REIT on the TSX... only shows the NYSE ticker, if it exists.
ch...@google.com <ch...@google.com> #5
I'm having the same issue, both with the GOOGLEFINANCE function and a straight-up Google search.

yes, it appears my REITs are affected as well SRU.UN and DIR.UN turning up NA
ch...@google.com <ch...@google.com> #8
I think this is also affecting https://www.google.com/finance/ .
I am unable to add PLZ.UN to my Portfolio (even though it was there until last Sunday), at the same time my sheet stoped being able to pull this data also.

Yes - I am having the same problem for all TSX trust unit stocks. Would appreciate a fix so I don't have to start mixing in yahooF functions.

I am having the same problem with my Canadian REITS not showing up on Googlesheets.
ap...@google.com <ap...@google.com> #13
Same problem here.
v....@dental-monitoring.com <v....@dental-monitoring.com> #14
Same here, me too, don't help much. If you only need "end of day" price, do it manually. I have 3 stocks with .UN suffix and it's a temporary fix. Make sure you highlight the cells that are manual for correcting later, hopefully soon!
ch...@google.com <ch...@google.com> #15
Using the Google Finance webpage you can find the NEW stock tickers when you type in the company name. For example "NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT" shows up as OTCMKTS: NWHUF. HOWEVER, it is in USD not CAD so that it is not useful. Not sure why the exchange changed from TSE either!?! Hopefully they will consider this a bug and fix it. Either way it would be really good to know what Google is thinking so I can figure out what/when I can view my portfolio again!
BTW, there is an extension that is supposed to work for Canadian Trusts, Yahoo Finance (YHFIANCE). However it is $19/month and not even close to live. I would rather pay for a good working version if Google Finance, just saying.

Same. At this rate maybe I should just move to Yahoo finance instead

Its been almost a week, when is google going to fix this
ch...@google.com <ch...@google.com> #19
TSX ( or TSE ) REITS are still not being read on Google Sheets.
Is there an easy work-around to fix this ?
Is there an easy work-around to fix this ?
ap...@google.com <ap...@google.com> #20
Adding to help from post # 15 got me a temporary work around. It's not 100% accurate but does a close job for my day end value with no N/A cells. My 3 .UN stocks are BIP.UN, HR.UN and PMZ.UN
Check your stocks on Google Finance using stock name not symbol for proper market.
Temp work around for Can$$:
BIP.UN - =GoogleFinance ("NYSE:BIP","price")*GOOGLEFINANCE("CURRENCY:USDCAD")
HR.UN - =GoogleFinance ("OTCMKTS:HRUFF","price")*GOOGLEFINANCE("CURRENCY:USDCAD")
PMZ.UN - =GoogleFinance ("OTCMKTS:PMREF","price")*GOOGLEFINANCE("CURRENCY:USDCAD")
Of course it never fails in doing up this post 75% of Google Sheets prices failed. lol.

Google Finance also is broken for things like mutual funds.
So =GOOGLEFINANCE("MUTF_CA:TDB908", "price") will generate a
"Error. When evaluating GOOGLEFINANCE, the query for the symbol: 'TDB900' returned no data."
Maybe Google finance is turning into an American only tool for Americans' only.

When I read the Maybe "Maybe Google finance is turning into an American only tool for Americans' only"
I had a little chuckle BUT there may be some truth in this comment.
See below??
Google has started temporarily restricting news results for approximately four percent of randomly selected Canadian users in tests that will last five weeks. The decision directly responds to an online news bill called C-18, currently under debate in the Canadian parliament.

Google please liaise with Morningstar or ICE and clear this up ASAP. This has a major impact on Canadian market participants. Also, no TSX listing for Brookfield Corporation, one of the largest Canadian companies. It's reasonable to expect better.

Don't like the "me too" but, well, me too! The website won't return a bunch of .un (unit) stock, I think of any type!
Arrrrrrgh. My apologes. I don't have anything constructive, becuase I don't know who/what/how I can communicate to and help or assist in this process.

I was able to develop a script using chatGPT that scraped the price from Yahoo Finance and inserted it into google sheets. This youtube video will give you an idea how to do that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO1z4k0QuwQ
ch...@google.com <ch...@google.com> #37
For this example script place the yahoo formatted stock symbol in column A row 2 or below and the up to date stock price will be displayed in column B after you run the script.

Description
This issue is created for the issue reported via Android CameraX Discussion Group .
This should be a device specific issue that happens on Samsung A5 series devices. Please see the following two related posts I can find:
Re-encoding the JPEG images can produce normal size JPEG files and it seems like that it won't take obviously longer time to capture photos on my local A5 device.
