Jetpack Compose version: "1.5.0-beta02".
Jetpack Compose component used: DropdownMenu.
Android Studio Build: Android Studio Hedgehog | 2023.1.1 Canary 9.
Kotlin version: kotlinVersion = "1.8.10".

Steps to Reproduce or Code Sample to Reproduce:

As the title mentions, No option to remove or customize elevation in DropDownMenu.

Adds OverscrollEffect#withoutDrawing and OverscrollEffect#withoutEventHandling 
 
These APIs allow overscroll to have events dispatched to it by one component, and rendered in a separate component.

Relnote: "Adds OverscrollEffect#withoutDrawing and OverscrollEffect#withoutEventHandling APIs - these APIs create a wrapped instance of the provided overscroll effect that doesn't draw / handle events respectively, which allows for rendering  overscroll in a separate component from the component that is dispatching events. For example, disabling drawing the overscroll inside a lazy list, and then drawing the overscroll separately on top / elsewhere."

What about a fix in non-material3 androidx.compose.material:material:1.6.8? Exactly the same problem exists there. It seems this issue does not directly say that the problem is in material3 only.
