I would like to be able to disable the logs from the Split Health Checks, as they are currently not possible to disable them or their logs.
How this might work:
It could be useful if the health checks logs could be controlled by each user, maybe in the app.yaml file.
If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
There is a workaround by editing the default logging bucket sink and excluding the logs projects/<PROJECT_ID>/logs/appengine.googleapis.com%2Fnginx.health_check which are the ones related to the health checks. Additionally, you can perform more detailed filtering by the module_id or the version_id. Nonetheless, this workaround isn’t very intuitive and the proposed feature will enable the customer to manage the health checks logs in an easier and intuitive way. Additionally, this workaround keeps incurring billing for the generated logs.
