I don't see any documentation explaining the process of taking an existing widget and converting that to a Glance widget. This leads me to believe that if I want my users to use the new Glance widget, they need to delete the old one and add the widget again.

If this is the case, it would be nice to see Google's recommended flow or process on how to notify users to add the new widgets.

I'm only a little familiar with Power Apps. Is your app a mobile app or a web app?

This link lists out the alternatives.

The primary recommended alternative for the Google Fit REST API is Health Connect.

If your app does not work on Android mobile devices, you can also consider the Fitbit Web API.
