Description
1) When launching new models of products, older models come up before newer models when searching for the newer model. This behavior is maintained after about 24 hours, by then, newer models do come up before older models.
2) Pre-order products come up after back-order products instead of the other way around.
Both of these issues are present for searches, as well as 'Other product' recommendations when looking up a given product.
There's awareness of the boost/bury rules and custom attributes, however, would it be possible for this behavior to occur automatically? Since it can be non-viable to create boost/bury rules and custom attributes when product launches are high in volume.
What you expected to happen:
1) For newer models to be boosted faster and automatically.
2) For pre-order products to be boosted automatically and show up before back-order products.
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
Boost/bury rules and custom attributes.
