The R8 build does include these files in our jar and they are not used/needed. I'll amend our build to avoid including them and merge it to the release branches.

This change has landed in studio-3.3-dev and studio-3.4-dev. It has not yet landed in master, but will get there early next week when we do the weekly roll of R8 into studio.

Are you aware that I've already provided the link to my app, and it's currently public? It boasts over 130,000 public users. However, in the event of an external organization user being present in a space, they won't be able to click the card button. Only internal user only able to click the card

Do you have multiple Google accounts with different domains for testing? I can provide you with one. just email me.

Did a live test on this now and found out the hard way.
No external users in the Google Chat room are allowed to cast their vote.

This issue also affects the Polly app.

Is there any tool to use for votes that external users can participate in?

This is also affecting my Spaces.  I am a Workspace admin and can not find any setting that appears to address this issue.  Is there any option I can set, or do bots just not work with external users?

I have a Google Chat app and this causes a lot of frustration with users who expect (rightfully so) that Google Chat apps that are added to a space with external users, should work with external users.

I deal with support requests on a daily basis for this, so it would be great to hear if a solution is planned for this, and if so, when?

This still isn't fixed. Tested with Polly and Absolute Poll.

Still not fixed. This is a serious issue for poll apps. We are moving school internal and external communication to Google Chat and not having polls is critical.

Looks like this will never be resolved. Typical Google. Just like they ruined Nest. Starting to lose faith in this company. As many devs as you have and you can't fix a simple thing like this. What is going on?
