Problem encountered
Two methods from Cloud Logging
google.logging.v2.ConfigServiceV2.FetchUserPreferenceandgoogle.logging.v2.ConfigServiceV2.UpsertUserPreferenceis denied by VPC Service Controls despite the correct ingress/egress policies set.There is no critical impact due to this denial.
FetchUserPreferenceandUpsertUserPreferencemethods are used in the Logging Explorer to persist the user's scope selection (with the 'Refine Scope' panel) for each project persist across sessions.Workarounds
Users will need to re-select the target scope whenever needed via the Refine Scope panel.
