What you would like to accomplish:

I would like to use windows hostprocess containers in GKE in order to see all metrics about windows nodepools without installing any tool on windows nodepools.

How this might work:

According to my investigation, GKE cluster has one admission webhook ("windows.config.common-webhooks.networking.gke.io") to prevent using  of hostprocess spec in windows pods for some security concerns. If we disable it or configurate it for host process spec, that could be work.

If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:

there is some limitations. and there is no alternative way to handle it.
