Version used: 1.6.1
Devices/Android versions reproduced on:
Android TV (Leanback) uses FragmentActivity and AppCompatDelegate only works with AppCompactActivity. So this feature can not be used.
Not sure if I should be marking it as bug or feature request but its not working on android tv
