DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. restart mac
2. launch android studio
3. Dialog about running process 471 is shown and AS won't start until you kill the process 471

smudunuri@ noticed this is IDEA-330531, which is fixed by IntelliJ commit ffd9a3068d. We may want to backport the fix to Iguana.

Workaround: kill the existing IDE process if it exists, then remove the .lock file in the config folder.
