Description
Ideally I would like a native integration between Google Secret Manager, and GKE.
At the moment I am having to use External Secrets Operator to get this working, but really would like to see this be implemented as a google operator similar to protected backend (example)
This could take place as a similar implementation as ESO (External Secret Operator) where a resource is created that pulls from GCPSM and creates a GKE secret.
Whilst I understand that ESO works fine, I'd prefer a native service in GKE especially when working with secrets.
