Currently, managing ingress and egress rules with Terraform in Google Cloud can be challenging due to the lack of unique IDs or names associated with the individual rules. Therefore, deleting or modifying a single rule often leads to reordering and changes on all other rules, leading to increased effort and potential error-proneness. The same issue exists when using the Google Cloud Console, API, or gcloud to manage rules.

My feature request is the implementation of unique IDs or names for ingress and egress rules in Google Cloud, allowing for targeted management of individual rules instead of always having to edit the entire list. This would significantly simplify and streamline the management of rules. The same way VPC Firewall rules are managed.
An additional description field for comments would also be helpful.
