Thanks for the detailed analysis. This may not be an issue anymore since we've started using Main.immediate there but I' not sure; I'll try to create a test case.

Description
I updated the template to add `Double` and ran the script... Would efficient collections for `Double` be accepted as an API? Was there a reason `Double` is not part of the generated primitives list?
