I have the same problem on Pixel 6/Pixel 8 + Pixel Watch. When the watch is connected, the sound in the headphones is cut off.
je...@gmail.com <je...@gmail.com> #5
I am having lots of Bluetooth issues with my wireless buds, smart watch and Android auto. I have a pixel 6.
te...@gmail.com <te...@gmail.com> #6
The problem appears on many TWS headphones. If you listen to only one, then everything is fine. If you connect a second one, then breaks begin. This happens to me on Pixel Buds A, Marshall Minor III, Huawei Freebuds 4. The problem has existed for two months now and I have to turn off the watch to listen to music. I even changed my phone from Pixel 6 to Pixel 8 and it didn't help. Google Support, please pay attention to this problem. It is also described on Google Community. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/239482780/pixel-buds-a-series-google-watch-2-audio-incompatibility-with-8-pro?msgid=239670939#

Woah, i didn't realise this was a wide spread issue. I too am facing the issue from around 2 months and was waiting for a fix. Since it was not in sight went ahead and logged this. Just an FYI, this issue started for me only when i enrolled into the Android 14 beta from 13 stable.
Hope Google takes this seriously

This happened to me a week after updating to the stable version of Android 14 on the Pixel 6. After purchasing the Pixel 8, the story repeated itself. There were no problems for exactly a week, but now the sound cuts out again. I assume that the problem is in the Bluetooth cache or in updating some system application via Google Play.

Same thing happens to me, I have a pixel 7 pro, buds series a and a samsung s2 watch. annoying with both buds connected they will randomly stop playing any audio (audio is playing I just can't hear it any more) after about a minute or so the bluetooth disconnect sound plays then if I'm lucky it will reconnect again. if not I have to put them back in the case and take them out again. This happens very regularly, also I've tried it with my watched switched off but the problem still occurs. It happens in both instances while I am sitting still at a desk working or when walking.
The only way I think this does not occur is when I only one earbud in and the other in its case. this does not seem to present the problem. This issue was present in android 13 and now also 14.
Very annoying!

The same happens when I connect my Pixel Buds A series to my Pixel 6A and connect my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 classic (Any watch with wear OS). My previous Crossbeat ACE (A non-wear OS watch) didn't cause this issue.
I have also raised a case with the Pixel Buds team. Ref Id: 5-2065000034485
I guess this happens for all devices with the below combo:
Andriod + Wear OS + Pixel Buds

Do we have any workaround for this issue?

Same problem here. My Pixel Watch 2's Bluetooth and my Pixel 8's phone are clashing! I haven't had any audio issues when I turned on the watch's airplane mode. Been listening to Spotify for a while now on my Pixel Buds A Series Then, just seconds after I turn off airplane mode and the watch is connected with my Pixel 8, BOOM! the audio is cut off again.
I tested the reverse -- connect the Buds directly to my watch and turn off BT on my Pixel 8. The music played without any interruptions as expected. But seconds after I turned on BT on my phone and it connects with my watch again, the audio cuts off.

+1 on having this same issue even after it is was "fixed" in QPR2 Beta 3 on my Pixel 8 Pro.
I've tried everything from resetting all my network settings, factory reset my phone, and all of the different combinations in developer settings for bluetooth. And also have tried different speakers and watches. Same issue every time when 2 devices are connected via bluetooth. Music starts stuttering after 30 seconds - 10 minutes which then requires me to toggle bluetooth off/on. The only workaround is to only have one device connected.
To be honest, this should be a P1 issue since it is core functionality. I would like to know if this is still being worked on and when we can expect a fix.

I am also having this problem with a Pixel 6a, Pixel Buds A-Series, and Galaxy Watch 5. Problem started in the last couple weeks. Audio would go for 10-15 seconds, lose for a couple seconds, come back on for a few seconds, and then lose again until I toggle bluetooth on and off. I put my watch into airplane mode after reading these comments and now the buds seem to be keeping connection and audio like they should.

It's the same for me. The problem persists even though I have installed the update. The only workaround ist to have only one Bluetooth device connected. Sadly, this is not a practical solution for me.

I have the issue. Pixel 7. Pixel Buds A. Pixel Watch 1. I've tried everything on my end. Factory resets included. My buds are no longer operational for listening aside from the first few minutes of play. The media continues to be 'playing', however, no sound at buds. SO ANNOYING

Simply to add: phone is on Android 14.

Thanks for fixing this issue! Had the same issue with Huawei Freebuds Pro/Pixel 7 Pro and after mulitple BT, buds and phone resets I was just about to return them, when I found this post. Didn't connect the issue to the watch, but that's it - so both a workaround and a fix. Much appreciated - looking forward to the drop.

Same issue - Pixel 8 pro connecting to Galaxy watch 5. when the connection is established, audio cuts in and out. When watch is disconnected, no issues.
This needs to be prioritized.

This issue happens for me too, when connected two devices via Bluetooth my pixel 6a, Samsung watch 5 and CMF by nothing headphones the audio keeps on cutting off while listening to music, watching videos and all but when only device is connected this issue does not occur, Kindly fix this issue ASAP
da...@gmail.com <da...@gmail.com> #32
Not sure if this is everyone's experience but with the march update, my issues have been resolved. Pixel 8 pro with galaxy watch 5 and galaxy buds 2. No more Bluetooth issues when all 3 are connected
ca...@googlemail.com <ca...@googlemail.com> #33
Still happening here on freshly updated Watch2, Pixel 8 with QPR2. Seriously? It is even listed in the release notes that it is addressed, but i cannot confirm a relief in this matter

What headphones are you using? I checked several and realized that for some of them the problem was fixed, but others continue to stutter

I am using Status Between Pro, will check with my better half's Pixel Buds later the day. The PlaySystem Update was not in place for me yet, did that now and will report back

Some of this is a little past my technical expertise, but I have just started having the problem - Pixel 7 Pro. Super frustrating to have the audio lose sound on earbuds every 2 mins. Ugh.
sr...@gmail.com <sr...@gmail.com> #37
This issue has been resolved with QPR2 update for Pixel 7 Pro. Please make sure to check for the same and update to the latest build. I'm able to connect both my buds and galaxy watch to my phone and not facing issues anymore.
ru...@gmail.com <ru...@gmail.com> #38
Fixed with QPR2 using Pixel 6Pro, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds A.
mi...@gmail.com <mi...@gmail.com> #39
After QPR2 I still have this with a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4, Pixel Watch 2 and P8 Pro.
ca...@googlemail.com <ca...@googlemail.com> #40
Reporting back - all updates installed, pixel buds are fixed, but my Status Audio Between Pro still experience the same issue. I'm still using the Pixel 8 with a Pixel Watch 2. As soon as the watch is in WiFi or LTE only mode (BT disconnected and off) it works well.
