What you would like to accomplish:

GCP Biglake/Bigquery catalog supports creating and managing apache iceberg table. Main dependency is  "biglake-catalog-iceberg1.2.0-0.1.1-with-dependencies.jar" . It only seem to support upto iceberg 1.2.0 version however.

Is there any plan to support Iceberg 1.4.1  or 1.4.2 ? Supporting newer version of Iceberg will safely allow us to upgraded spark to 3.4 and iceberg to 1.4.2


How this might work:

This might only need testing on your side that your existing biglake jar will support iceberg 1.4.1 or 1.4.2.
