I tested the new model with a few images and it consistently only returned 7 pagesWithMatchingImages where the old model returned more.

I expected the model to return more accurate results than the old model, or at least the same number of accurate results.

To reproduce, annotate any image with the web detection feature and the new model, 'builtin/latest'.

And the model does also not return any partialMatchingImages or fullMatchingImages urls within the pagesWithMatchingImages.

This issue is not a duplicate of the other old issue, https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/287503231.

The other issue was about an extreme decrease in results in June, which got fixed in the end of June.

This issue is about the new model that was announced 5th of December, which seems to be capped at only 7 pagesWithMatchingImages and also does not return any partialMatchingImages or fullMatchingImages urls within the pagesWithMatchingImages.

The issue has not been fixed yet, what's the status?

There's only 68 days until the old/legacy model is deprecated and we will be forced to use the new model that seems to be limited to only 7 pagesWithMatchingImages.

The issue is of uttermost concern to us and I can not emphasize enough how important it is that it get's resolved before the old model is deprecated!

Please look into the issue and resolve it ASAP!
