Hi, Is there any update on this ticket. We are currently in the process of migrating our encoding pipelines to google transcoder. Multiple captions is very important for us to proceed.
Description
Currently according to the documentation, Multiple subtitles are supported for HLS format. We need to have this DASH format as well. VTT mux container support for DASH manifest is what's expected.
Alternative solution is to have single captions embedded to video while transcoding using text streams, But for multiple subtitles (For several languages) this is not sufficient.
Tried adding subtitles inside vtt container and adding to HLS manifest and it works as expected. But we urgently need this support for DASH manifest.
